As children, we drank and loved cocoa every morning. We rethought the experience and left out the sugar and cow’s milk, added wholegrain oats, flaxseed, quinoa and a bunch of nutritious ingredients. We mixed them together baked them crispy, topping it of with freeze-dried strawberries. The result is a special cocoa flavor with light fruity notes. Finally something that is better than it used to be!
We made this muesli to the delight of ourselves, our friends and family. We simply got bored of the flavored cereals and sugary pastries. The muesli products, which promised to be free of nasty stuff, usually missed the taste experience. We needed a better breakfast that was delicious enough for our kids to eat too, and healthy enough for us to dare give it to them. Enjoy our muesli without guilt for breakfast when you play sports or as a light snack!
